Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Avionics Product Quality Manager (M/F) to join our Quality Product Assurance department, within Avionics and Simulations Products Department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team to assure the quality of avionics products in development stages. 

As part of the Quality Product Assurance team, you will be involved in the development to assure quality of any new products being developed or upgraded in the context of major or minor change(s) from End to End..

Your challenges:

  • Implementing Airbus Quality Standards and contributing to the overall domain performance improvement

  • Leading Quality Assurance to support Development, Certification, Start of Production and Entry in to Service, for full or incremental product new development, major or minor modification of product /industrial process, transfer of work activities for the Avionics Products according to the Avionics Projects Quality Responsibility Matrix 

With the support of other Quality Managers, you will be in charge to:

  • Support Programme and Project Organization in the analysis and assessment of the potential risks in the scope of full or incremental product new development

  • Define and release, according to the risk analysis, the necessary Avionics Products/Industrial processes Quality Assurance plan to cover Avionics Products quality surveillance activities,

  • Assure adherence to the Avionics Products processes & facilitate the deployment of Quality Standards (i.e. APQP) 

  • Perform surveillance Activities (run, survey or support the necessary checks, assessment and/or reviews, approve product documentation),

  • Contribute to all Avionics non-conformities potential cause elimination through Practical Problem Solving facilitation, DFMEA facilitation, 

  • Ensure that lessons learnt are captured by Avionics and lead, when relevant, to Avionics Quality Management System or Airbus Business Process improvement,

Your boarding pass:

  • Educated to 5-year degree level in Engineering

  • Solid background experience in Engineering, Project Management, Development and/ or Quality

  • Knowledge in Electronics, development hardware and/ or software

  • Prior experience in Quality 

  • Prior experience in Project management including multifunctional teams

  • Good Communication Skills towards different stakeholders

  • Autonomy and organization skills

  • Language Skills: fluent in French and a negotiation level in English
